Last day at Skeppsbron

Tomorrow it´s Sandhamn and the last start in VolvoOceanRace, but before that Eric Gadd tonight and a beer in the warm summer weather, but first a quick stop by at my doctor to do something about my back.
Just when writing this I saw smoke rise from where the boats are. A orange smoke and a terrible smell filled the air. My colleague Jonas told me that it was the Russian team that fired an flare, it is a part of the personal offshore survival course that all crew- members has to complete so they did before the last leg towards St Petersburg. It is said that the crew mainly are the wet team/shoreteam that are sailing for the final finish in a few days.  The King were having dinner just inside the boat anchored close by. A lot that happens here at Skeppsbron.
