Surfed the net and found Obama live from Egypt on the white house official webpage. Interesting as I never has heard a longer speech with him since the election campaigns. And even more interesting did it become further in to the speech. He spoke of humanity in the sense of unity and not separation into religion, race or culture. And he encouraged foremost us, who are up coming in the society today to not be bound by the past but to re-imagine and create this world. To be aware of Darfur and Bosnia and other crises and to view them as a stain of our collective conscious. I was pretty impressed, f course he is a great spokes man but what he actually put forward are in line with what His Holiness Dalai Lama stands for. Peace and humanity under unity rather than diversion and villain versus the good guys. It’s not so easy as to blame one side or the other.
“Moses, Muhammad and Jesus joined in prayer”, he said. So why shouldn’t we?!

At the governmental radio station P1 I found the headline: Per Olov Enquist reads “Ett annat liv” or “ Another life”. 30 episodes where he takes the listener back to mid 19th century. That made me think of what my physiotherapist said that we Lutherans are so stiff which in turn brings up troubles with our nerves and muscles in our bodies occurring depression and other physiological deceases. If dancing were considered a sin what else wasn’t. It is in our genes even though I think that my generation compared to my parents is more open minded and more influenced by other cultures, due to the wider spread of music, TV-shows, books etcetera due to internet but also that more people are traveling more. To let go of control and just have fun do not coming natural in our blood compared to more southern longitudes, but it might within a few generations. I m also convinced that if, as a friend of mine said the other day “that if we were force Nazis to go outside Swedish borders, leave them with no money, just a ticket somewhere in Europe then they will come back as change persons, they will realize that there are scumbags in all colors and in all classes and cultures as well as there are guardian angels and just regular pretty nice people, because most of us are. I like the thought.
It also made my mind flip back to the movie I watched yesterday, angels and demons, and the diversion of science and religion. It is actually just two ways of explaining the impossible; the thing with anti-materia is that it falls under both of these ranges.
