The last day of preparations
My friend Teresa stopped by and I took her on a tour around the construction area, showing her where I will spend my time. Above is the Puma barge, a pretty cool construction but they had a late delivery and are a bit behind.
- It takes you back to the houses in Tokyo that are built on water, said Teresa. I wouldn´t mind living like this. On the shore in the heart of the City. This is where the Puma dry team, those who deal with visitors, are to be located.
The Wet team, that are responsible for the boat, are located on the other side
of the area closer to the bridge towards Slussen. This is the depot for the V70s´and today its full action, in containers like the one on the picture there are tools of different kind to repair the boats and make sure that there demands are being fulfilled and the boat are in great shape for the last leg towards St Petersburg in Russia.
Before the day ended and we were soaked in rain Loogna did his first action report live at RadioVolvoOceanR
ace, and it worked !
Now I have to edit some radio reports and then it all starts at 1000 tomorrow morning. 50 thousand visitors a day is expected. It is going to be a party!
