A long day that took strange turns. After lunch something happened. The negativity that had been hanging over me as a cloud suddenly blew away. A very nice man stopped by at my door and we had a chat. In the hallway I run in to a familiar face. I had seen her at lunch, but as I has been here back and forth doing jobs like these and because my father works here, there are a lot of people that I have met once in a while. But there were something different with this face, and also that I in the morning had noticed another familiar face saying god morning. She cleared the riddle. It was my two bosses from the time back when I worked at the globe arena, 2003. One thing led to another and we will work together again during Volvo Ocean Race Stopover. “Just tell us when you can work and then we put together a schedule “ .
Next step: to clear up with the radio; what, when, where and payment!
In a terrible rain and a cold Stockholm I went, in my white sneakers and shorts, to the studio. A short meeting, 10 minutes and a coffee later I was booked 4 days as a reporter both at Sandhamn and at Skeppsholmen.
GREAT ! The day has turned from bottom to top, and I LOVE it.
While at the radio, Jesse came in with a plasticbag in his hand. proudly showing me that he had bought a new camera for action reporter Loogna, one that is waterproof. And what shall one do with new gadgets than to test them…
As if this wouldn’t be enough I picked up my soundsticks at macsupport and met up with my mum and had dinner. Then I got a phone- call from a guy I met in a bar the other week. I did something that I rarely do, I gave him my number and I had according to him told him to call me on Tuesday. Why I have no clue about, but he did.
Isn´t amazingly interesting what some envelops can bring about. I start to be convinced that the buddhist say that "prayers shall fly with the wind" meaning that everything shall be in a constant move. And when they are, when you are, then possibilities shows them selves and its is up to you if you do something about them or just let them pass.
Oh, almost forgot. The tosca cake were from Friday … and I also figured out who the talented pastrycook were. Thanks Camilla : )
